Consideration - Encouragement - Depth
Listening with intention and without ego, is an art I have found to be transformative. Experiencing the feeling of being truly heard by my own therapist was a revelation for me. I offer an environment where feelings, experiences, concerns and difficulties can be shared openly. I promise to listen, without judgement; embodying the principles of my Person-Centred therapy training.
Person-Centred Counselling’s power comes from the compassionate, committed, non-directive nature of the relationship. Sessions are an opportunity to explore your needs where you may wish to discuss sensitive and tender issues, process grief and loss or seek to accommodate changes. Some clients may choose to explore how life can be made sense of or improved. I appreciate how hard seeking support can be so please be assured I will accompany you on your personal journey, at your own pace, respecting your values.
Training to become a counsellor gave me a renewed sense of purpose and I feel humbled and privileged to be able to do this work.
With a degree in History of Art, formerly I worked in the arts industry in London. I am a creative, outward-looking individual. As a mother of three daughters, I am reminded daily of the challenges life throws at us, emotionally, physically, and mentally. I love to travel and have an eagerness for discovery and adventure. I feel very fortunate to live in Cornwall where nature can offer nourishment as spending time outdoors is important to me, even on the dampest of Cornish days!
